How can I print a diagram?

How to print a process or overview.

In Engage Process Publisher, you can print a process diagram by first exporting it to a Word or PDF file and then printing that file. Large diagrams may be challenging to capture on a single page, but exporting to Word or PDF gives you control over layout and page size before printing.

Steps to Export and Print a Diagram

  1. Open the Process or Overview
Navigate to the process you want to print and open it by double-clicking its name.

  2. Open the File Menu
Click File in the top left corner of the Publisher interface.

  3. Choose Export Format
In the menu, Print diagram is preselected. Choose the format you want: Word (DOCX) or PDF.

  4. Adjust Export Options (if applicable)
A dialog may appear allowing you to adjust settings (e.g. include process metadata or adjust layout options).

  5. Generate the File
Click Done. The Publisher will create the file in the background. The file will be downloaded to your computer, typically in your browser’s Downloads folder.

  6. Open and Print
Open the downloaded Word or PDF file in your preferred application (e.g., Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat). From there, choose Print and configure your printer settings as needed.
