How can I use Teamboard most effectively?

Import, Export and Preferences.

In this article, we explain how to use the additional Teamboard options that are available via the Engage Process logo in the top-left corner of the screen.

Import

Many organisations already use other tools—such as Trello or Excel—to record and manage their work before switching to Engage Process Teamboard. Re-entering this information manually would result in unnecessary duplicate work.

To avoid this, Teamboard offers several import options.

How to access:
Engage Process logo (top left) → Import (middle column)

Available import options

Use an Engage Process export file (ETTZ)
This is Engage Process’ own file format, specifically designed to exchange Teamboards between different Engage Process environments safely and efficiently.

Use a Trello file (JSON)
Data exported from Trello as a JSON file can be imported directly into Teamboard.

Import from CSV
Applications that support CSV export can be used to import data into Teamboard. This option is ideal for quickly transferring a set of items from one board to another.

Export

All information on a Teamboard can be exported for reporting, sharing, or reuse.

How to access:
Engage Process logo (top left) → Save as → Export

Available export options

Export as CSV file
Export all or selected content to a CSV file. This file can be used to import data into another application or into a different Teamboard.

Export as Excel file
Export all or selected content to an Excel file. This option is useful for sharing information with people who do not have access to Teamboard, such as external stakeholders.

Export as Engage Process Teamboard file
Export a complete board, with or without content, in Engage Process’ own format. This allows you to easily exchange Teamboards with other Engage Process customers.

Preferences

In Preferences, you can configure your personal notification settings.

  • Enable or disable email notifications

  • Notifications are sent when something is posted on a board in your name

  • Email notifications are enabled by default
