How to place and delete content from Teamboard

On a Teamboard, you can create work items.
Work items are used to register and monitor actions, activities, findings, improvement suggestions, or other relevant items.

Depending on the board configuration, work items can be divided into one or more tasks.

Creating work items

1. On the Teamboard, click the + Add button.

2. If multiple work item types are available, select the desired type.

3. The work item form opens.

4. Enter the required information. Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory.

5. Save the work item.

 

 

Creating tasks

Depending on the board configuration, tasks can be added to a work item.

1. Open the work item form (for example, by double-clicking the card on the board).

2. In the tasks section, click Add.
   
   

3. Complete the task form and save.

ℹ️ Note
The name and availability of tasks may differ per board, depending on the configuration.

How do I delete content from a board?

Both work items and tasks can be removed from a Teamboard.
The deletion process differs for each.

Deleting work items

Deleting a work item is a two-step process.

1. Right-click the work item card (or table row, depending on the selected view).

2. Select Archive.

The work item is removed from the board but not permanently deleted.
Archived work items can be restored or permanently deleted via the Archive.

Deleting tasks

Tasks are deleted immediately and permanently.

1. Open the work item form.

2. Click the red cross (✖) next to the task you want to delete.

3. Confirm the deletion.

⚠️ Important
Deleted tasks are permanently removed and cannot be restored.

Archive

Archived work items are stored in the Archive.

To open the Archive:

1. Go to the Teamboard.

2. Open the main menu and select Show archive.

The archive overview displays a list of archived work items. For each work item, the following options are available:

• Show details – Open the work item form in read-only mode

• Restore – Move the work item back to the board

• Delete – Permanently delete the work item

⚠️ Important
Once a work item is deleted from the archive, it is permanently removed and cannot be restored (for example by using Ctrl + Z).
