How to track changes in Teamboard?
Live updates and history.
Teamboards are often used by multiple people at the same time. This makes them ideal for use during meetings, but they can also be consulted and updated between meetings by different users. To ensure transparency and prevent conflicts, Teamboard provides live updates and a detailed change history.
Use the sections below to learn how these features work.
Live updates
A Teamboard can be opened and edited by multiple users simultaneously. When two or more users are viewing the same work item or task, the following applies:
-
As soon as one user starts editing a field, that specific field is temporarily locked for other users.
-
Other users will see:
-
The field change colour
-
A notification showing the name of the user who is currently editing the field
-
This prevents users from overwriting each other’s changes and ensures that updates are applied in real time.
History
In addition to live updates, Teamboard automatically keeps a record of all changes made to work items and tasks. This allows you to track:
-
What was changed
-
When the change was made
-
Who made the change
-
How the change compares to previous versions
How to view the change history
-
Open a work item or task by double-clicking the card on the board.

-
In the top left corner of the form, select History.
-
An overview will appear showing all changes, including the date, time, and user.
If multiple fields were changed at the same moment:
-
A triangle icon appears on the left side of the line.
-
Click the triangle to expand the entry and view all individual changes made at that time.
