2023: Release Notes Summer '23 and Fall '23

Below are the product release notes regarding updates in Engage Process made in Summer and Fall of 2023.

General 

  • Most changes in this release are not visible to you as a user. We are cleaning up and rewriting all our code to make the applications more stable and flexible so that future modifications can be developed more easily. 
  • The content and layout of all email notifications automatically sent by the application have been changed, so that the information is displayed uniformly and and it is easy to see what the email notification in question is about. 
  • Access to the Engage Process Knowledge Center containing manuals, instructional videos, etc. is now also available by clicking on the Engage Process logo at the top right of the application.
  • Single Sign On is now also possible for organisations with multiple domains. 
  • Improved performance of various overviews/reports, search functions and exports

Modeler

  • Changing the size of brainstorming memos has been improved. 
  • Moving the lines of rows and columns in a brainstorm diagram has been improved. 
  • The limit of maximum 6 processes for exporting to a BPMN file has been removed. 
  • Itis possible to select the same value from a table at a process step if the contents of the columns that are 'Contextual' are different. 
  • The User Interface for entering and viewing the ( contextual) properties of a table value has been greatly improved. The columns can be made narrower and/or wider and long texts are now fully displayed. 
  • Templates created in the Admin Center can now also be used for the 'Annotations' field. 
  • Implementing changes to the authorisation in underlying folders and processes has been improved. This is going faster now. 
  • The long description of a 'Finding' is now automatically placed in a description field in the corresponding ticket in Teamboard. 

Admin Center

  • Creating cross-reference reports is now also possible in the Admin Center. The 'Tables Manager' role is required for this. 

Publisher

  • Creating cross-reference reports is now also possible in the Publisher. The 'Publisher' role is required for this. 

Modeler, Viewer (App), Admin Center, Publisher

  • The 'Roles (all)' option has been added for reports (cross-references). It is now possible to report on roles that have been used in, for example, the 'Owner' and 'Manager' fields at process level or roles that have been used in the 'RASCI' component. 
  • The option 'Process step. Label' has been added for reports (cross-references).  The content of the 'Label' field at process step level can now also be reported on.
